IN LOVING MEMORY OF Al – Founder [1936-2020] Al's extensive service background came from time spent as an electrician, a burner & boiler technician, a furnace repairman, and finally commercial refrigeration and appliance technician. Let's just say that's a lot of experience fixing stuff that's broke. In 1977 Al along with his wife Karen took a leap of faith and purchased what was known then as Skalitzky’s Repair. Karen and Al quickly grew the business keeping the Heins Appliance team all on the straight and narrow, ever committed to excellent customer service. When not working, Al enjoyed spending time in the outdoors or serving the many various Committees and Boards as well as time with his extensive family.
